One Week Completed
I am one week into this new lifestyle. I have been tracking everything I eat. I have weighed myself twice and I'm down a little over a pound. I'm hoping my weigh in tomorrow puts me a little lower. I have not weighed myself since Tuesday morning. I'm hoping that tomorrow will put me at least .5 a pound down. I haven't done much in the way of exercise other than my 5k on Sunday. Jym's been traveling since Tuesday so I can't say I've had much time for exercise.
Although it probably isn't a bad thing to focus on my health and nutrition. They say 80% of weightloss is done in the kitchen. I have for the most part kept my calories to about 1500-1700. Some days more but the average is there. And the thing is depending on how good I am about prep I'm actually pretty full on some of the lower calorie days. And I'm not saying no i can't have that. Twice this week I've had a little bag of chips and twice this week I've had cookies. What's nice is that they were prepackaged so when they were gone they were gone. And because I was tracking them I could adjust my other meals as needed to hit my calorie goal for the day (1750).
Jym is home for a few days next week so I'm hoping to get in an additional run on either Monday or Tuesday before he leaves again for 9 days. If i can get the schedule to work properly my goal is to run on Fridays when I work from home and then one other day during the week come home for "lunch" do a run and either work from home for the afternoon or go back to work. We'll see what is going on. The third run of the week I'm hoping to make on either a saturday or sunday when I have a bit more free reign.
Onward and upward. Now it's just figuring out the proper amount of items to purchase to prep correctly. The higher protein is helping (plain greek yogurt for breakfast ftw). Now i just need to get my water intake back up to where it used to be (It's at 50 on a good day right now vs the 90 it used to be). Till the next update!
